It was a moment of victory for actress Kangana Ranaut as Bombay High Court gave out its verdict on the actress’ office demolition case today. Bombay HC in their verdict was seen quashing the orders given out by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation that resulted into the demolition of the actress' office located in Bandra in September. Calling the demolition act of BMC as vindictive and malicious, she hailed their decision in favour of the actress. She tweeted, “Yes. This act was a blatant misuse of power, vindictive & malicious & cannot be condoned at any level. (Rock on emoji) to the #Bombay high court for saying this & doing the right thing.” The Panga actress too posted a video thanking the judiciary for giving out fair justice in this case that is in favour of her. Taking to her Instagram account, she mentioned it’s not the individual who wins when he/she stands against the government, but it is the democracy that wins.
She wrote in her Instagram post, “When individual stands against the government and wins, it’s not the victory of the individual but it’s the victory of the democracy. Thank you everyone who gave me courage and thanks to those who laughed at my broken dreams. It’s only cause you play a villain so I can be a HERO.”

As reported in Hindustan Times the division bench of Justices SJ Kathawalla and Riyaz Chagla stated that the Kangana’s office demolition act was ‘actuated by malafide’ and was totally in disregard of the actress’ rights. They have also disagreed with the civic body using its ‘muscle power’ against the actress who is also a citizen.
